Hip Hop News: Nas Announces New J Dilla Album under Mass Appeal
Nas Has announced on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show that his record label, Mass Appeal, will release J Dilla’s lost recording, The Diary. (2002 Project)
The 13 track album has guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Kokane, Bilal, Frank & Dank and many others. Production assists are from Malib, Pete Rock, Hi-Tek, House Shoes, Supa Dave West, Bink!, Karriem Riggins and more.
Estate of James Yancey has revived J Dilla’s longstanding company PayJay as a functioning imprint to release Dilla’s long lost vocal album, The Diary, on April 15
